Our why
At 5 Before 5 Solutions, we believe development doesn’t only happen in a classroom.
Some lessons are better experienced than taught. Walking through places shaped by Islamic history, meeting people whose lives look completely different from our own, serving communities and navigating unfamiliar environments can teach things that can’t always be captured in a lesson or workshop.
That’s why we travel, to turn learning into experience, and experience into growth.
The 5B5S experience
A 5 Before 5 Solutions tour brings together the things we believe make development meaningful: faith, learning, service, challenge and community.
Our tours are intentionally designed, not simply put together as a holiday itinerary. You’ll explore the history and culture of each destination, hear from people on the ground, take part in meaningful experiences and have opportunities to serve and contribute along the way.
And because you’re experiencing it all as part of the 5B5S community, the journey becomes just as much about the people you share it with as the places you visit.

Bosnia
A country marked by resilience, faith and a powerful modern history. In Bosnia, participants explore the legacy of the Muslim community, learn about the Bosnian War and hear stories of those who endured it. It’s a chance to reflect on identity, courage and what it means to hold onto your faith through adversity.
Lombok, Indonesia
Known for its natural beauty and strong Muslim identity, Lombok offers a completely different experience. Participants step into local communities, connect with children and families, take part in service initiatives and experience a culture where simplicity, community and gratitude are deeply woven into everyday life.
Makkah & Madinah, Saudi Arabia
The spiritual heart of the journey. Being in the cities where the Prophet ﷺ lived, worshipped and built the foundations of the Muslim ummah creates an opportunity to step away from everyday life and reconnect with what matters most. Through visiting significant sites, learning about the Seerah and performing Umrah, the experience becomes deeply personal and reflective.
